Musical Munchkins

Course Overview: Musical Munchkins is an exciting 8-session course designed for children aged 6 to 9 (by December 2025). Throughout the course, students will explore the world of music through a variety of active and energetic activities.

Schedule: All sessions will be held on Saturdays at 12:30 PM at the Local Council Main Hall, conveniently located near the primary school.

Session Dates:

• Session 1: May 3rd - Introduction to Music and the Wind Band

• Session 2: May 17th - Rhythm & Tempo

• Session 3: June 7th - Brass Instruments

• Session 4: June 28th - Wind Instruments

• Session 5: July 12th - Percussion Instruments

• Session 6: July 19th - The Wind Band (Introducing the Conductor)

• Session 7: August 9th - Early Music Notation Reading

• Session 8: August 23rd - Playing Music by Reading It
  

Closing Concert & Graduation:

• Date: Sunday, September 14th

• Further details on rehearsals for the concert will be provided closer to the date.
  

Fees:

• €25 - Tfal Iljuni Kids Club members

• €40 - Non-members
  

Payments to be done before the start of the first attending session.

• The course will hold a maximum of 12 students on a first come first served basis. 

• Should the limit of 12 students be exceeded a waiting list will be created and when a total of 8 students is reached a new group will be formed.
