Musical Munchkins

Course Overview: Musical Munchkins is an exciting 8-session course designed for children aged 6 to 9 (by December 2026). Throughout the course, students will explore the world of music through a variety of active and energetic activities.

Schedule: All sessions will be held on Saturdays at 12:30 PM at the academy's premises, conveniently located near the parish church of Hal Kirkop.

Session Dates:

• Session 1: October 25th - Introduction to Music and the Wind Band

• Session 2: November 8th - Rhythm & Tempo

• Session 3: November 22nd - Brass Instruments

• Session 4: December 6th - Wind Instruments

• Session 5: January 10th - Percussion Instruments

• Session 6: January 24th -  Early Music Notation Reading

• Session 7: January 31st -  Playing Music by Reading It

• Session 8: February 7th -  The Wind Band (Introducing the Conductor)  
  

Closing Concert & Graduation:

• Date: To be announced

• Further details on rehearsals for the concert will be provided closer to the date.
  

Fees:

• €25 - Tfal Iljuni Kids Club members

• €40 - Non-members
  

Payments to be done before the start of the first attending session.

• The course will hold a maximum of 12 students on a first come first served basis. 

• Should the limit of 12 students be exceeded a waiting list will be created and when a total of 8 students is reached a new group will be formed.
